STRAITS TIMES SINGAPURA DAKWA PENGUNDI CINA NAK BN , TAPI HATI-HATI DENGAN BERITA INI !

Singapore Straits Times claims that increase of Malaysian Chinese support could result in possible victory for BN.

Salim Osman copied resources from the same prejudiced propaganda survey Merdeka Centre. It is recurringly monotonous and unimpressive.
The reason for Salim’s concern about the Malaysian Chinese voters are:

·        Umno’s hardliners prevent PM Najib’s reforms of 40-yr old that had not brought about effects on the Chinese.
·        Umno’s radical push for Malay supremacy or “ketuanan Melayu” is seen as a threat to non-Malay interests.
·        The controversies over Christians using the word “Allah” and the denial of Christian Bibles in Malay deprives the right to freedom of religion.
Salim referred to a book writer Wong Chin Huat, an activist and academician who listed three fear factors experienced by the community:
·        Fear of ethnic violent if they back the opposition.
·        Fear of losing representation in the government.
·        Fear of instability and uncertainty.

Out of the three, the journalist stated that fear of instability and uncertainty will remain to be seen as there are conflicts among the coalition of opposition party.

It took some effort for Salim to analyse PM Najib’s weighing over the importance of Chinese voters, finally Salim still retracts to point fingers at Umno.

Depending on whatever reasons Salim wishes to seek popularity for his article, some Malays as well as Umno readers could respond with awkwardness or vice-versa.

  11. 1. Perhaps we must ruminate the root rationale of why Singapore Straits Times always criticises politics in Malaysia. We could probably give our views judging from every article publicized by these newspapers we could sense their main objectives is to spread information on the basis of weaknesses of the present government, despite the progresses in all infrastructures that the government has been developing continually ruled by United Malay National Organization since after the emergency period. Consequently, this rationale shoots influence his concentration on why he writes articles that he couldn’t think he could offend the feelings of Malays who love their country, their places of birth, their childhood playground as well as their fertile land that flourish with natural resources.

    2. We could perceive that Salim Osman is living in the nation that has been ruled by People Action Party. His mentality about living under different political party government is totally lack of Malay nationalism. His attitude towards Malay nationalism is utterly irrelevant. He doesn’t have to feel proud and courageous towards Umno.

    3. What he could see from the top ladder is to spread impartial views of information about Malaysia while working towards attaining the main objectives of his employer Singapore Press Holdings.

Buang sama polis melayu”
