‘Islam is the Middle Path’ according to Masumah A Farchici, who says ‘Islam teaches balance in thought and action’ and he quotes:-
“Thus We have appointed you a middle nation.” (Qur’an, Surah Baqarah, 2:143)
This is where we need one common language to unite us more. When one spoke using language not understood by other, it tends to raise suspicions.
How could there be "Unity in Diversity" (Najib's 1Malaysia)? Different languages already prone to raise suspicion.
And what language that all Malaysians must use to speak and write? Non other, but the Bahasa Kebangsaan, Bahasa Melayu.
