STRAITS TIMES SINGAPURA PUN NYIBUK PASAL PRU.

Singapore S T enjoys being a pundit guessing for the G E 13.

     1.    Lester Kong plays a guessing puzzle with his time – line till     April 2013.

2.    He cannot get an accurate answer from the chief of Umno’s K L Federal Territory division.

3.    Analysts also participate in the puzzle.

4.    Lester Kong still harps on the speculation spread by unreliable Merdeka Centre chief’s reflection that shows the decline in PM Najib’s survey of approval ratings. They both attribute the low results to the heavy-handed authorities that has caused the 28th April Bershit to turn raging violence.

1. Why did this person from the Centre for Policy Initiatives refer to the internal quarrelling in UMNO? It is not ethical to mention this issue that has no relevant to Lester Kong’s guessing game.
2. Why did Merdeka Centre again attribute the low support for PM Najib from non Malays had resulted the delay in general election?
3. Why did M.C. put the blame on the authorities for being over-reinforcement to Bershit 3.0 protesters?
4. There are no other agencies in the world which can predict accurately what actually political situation will take place in the future with just conducting a survey. A survey could only reflect the past and the present. The future might turn the other way round.
5. The survey from M.C. merely shows a representation from a handful of individuals who is compelled to restrict their thinking on one particular topic, and therefore they are not representing the whole society.

According to S S T today Anwar is seen as a popular political party leader. He was ever regarded as Umno “superstar” until he was sacked in 1998.
The strange thing is if the journalist wrote him as a superstar, how come he was sacked in the late 1990s? Where is the logic?
Certainly the new generations and new voters now know the reasons, especially the Malaysian sides, what about the Singaporean side, the young readers?
Certainly there are many reasons she (the journalist) can elaborate more lengthy that had caused Anwar to be sacked and more bickering sans squabbles in his political arena , until now everybody knows Anwar is the political felony instead of a political ‘superstar’.
This kind of writing in the newspaper is lacked of honesty on the part of the journalist. Spreading the distortions of information to Singaporean readers.
